Looking up an error code?
Chorzle is built to be quiet and reliable, and most families never see one of these. If a code did turn up, find it below for what it means and the quickest way to clear it.
Sync & connection
Codes CT-101 to CT-120
Chorzle couldn't reach the server.
Check your internet connection, then refresh and try again. Anything you changed is kept and syncs on its own once you're back online.
A recent change hasn't synced yet.
There's usually nothing to do. Chorzle keeps the change safe on the device and keeps trying. If it lingers, open Chorzle, go to Settings, then Family Sharing, and tap “Push local changes”.
Chorzle couldn't fetch the latest from the server.
Give it a moment, then pull again: in Chorzle, go to Settings, then Family Sharing, and tap “Refresh from cloud”. Check your internet connection.
Instant “live” updates aren't running on this device.
Nothing is lost. Your family's changes still arrive every time Chorzle opens or you pull to refresh. Reopening Chorzle usually brings live updates back, and a device restart clears it up if not.
Family & sharing
Codes CT-201 to CT-211
No family matched that invite code.
Re-check the 16-character code with whoever set Chorzle up first. It's on their device under Settings, then Family Sharing. Codes use letters A to Z and digits 2 to 9 only (no 0, 1, I, L, or O), and the dashes are optional.
Chorzle couldn't switch on Family Sharing.
Check your internet connection, then try again. If it keeps happening, reload Chorzle first.
Chorzle couldn't save the invite code on this device.
Try the step again. If it persists, close and reopen Chorzle, and make sure the device isn't completely out of storage.
Saving & data
Codes CT-301 to CT-310
A change couldn't be saved on this device.
Try again. If it keeps happening, close and reopen Chorzle and check the device has a little free storage. Your earlier data is unaffected.
A family reset didn't finish cleanly.
Run the reset once more in Chorzle, from Settings, then the Danger Zone. If it still doesn't complete, email us with this code and we'll sort it out with you.
